Lithuanian Armed Forces Day

Members of the U.S. Army pose for photos after the military parade ceremony marking the 104th anniversary of the Lithuanian military on Armed Forces Day at the Gedimino ave in Vilnius, Lithuania, Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2022. For Lithuanians, the holiday honors the restoration of the country's Armed Forces on Nov. 23, 1918, just weeks after the end of WWI, when the Prime Minister, Augustinas Voldemaras, signed Order No. 1 giving legal basis for formation of the armed forces of the newly-independent Lithuania.
