The 8th Annual Evansville Streets Alive! in the Promise Zone Pop-up Event, is Sunday, June 23, from 1 to 4 p.m., along the North Main Street Multi-Use Trail.

This year, Streets Alive! will be celebrated along the North Main Street Multi-Use Trail with bikes and activities--we’re encouraging cyclists of every age to bike on the trail! Ride your bike along the North Main Street Multi-Use Trail to Garvin Park, then back to the old Buehler’s IGA lot for other fun activities, buy lunch at one of the many participating Evansville Food Trucks and enjoy live music! For those that don’t have a bike? That’s okay—please join us to celebrate biking, roller-skating, walking, and other fun, healthy activities and a chance to win a bike from our Bike Giveaway program!

Event kick-off will be at 1:00 p.m., in the old Buehler’s IGA grocery store parking lot located at 200 North Main Street, Evansville, IN 47711, next to Illinois and Franklin Streets.

The 8th Annual Streets Alive! Event is presented by the Evansville Trails Coalition to the community to promote active lifestyles, bring awareness of our local trails and parks and to facilitate their use. We invite you and your organization to be one of the fun-makers! Admission to this 8th annual celebration is FREE for everyone! Learn more at: or on Facebook: Evansville Streets Alive

This is truly a ‘quality of life’ event for the Evansville community that encourages fun, healthy, recreational activity utilizing our local trails and amenities. Through partnerships and collaboration, we create opportunities for all of our community members to experience what building healthy communities is all about!
