Dr. Turner Stauffer started his practice with Owensboro Health in early January.

The 57-year-old is a fourth-generation doctor. 

He attended Dartmouth College, Columbia College of Physicians and Surgeons, and the University of Colorado School of Medicine.

Stauffer has been married to his wife, Karen Stauffer, 31 years, and they have four children.

Previously, Karen Stauffer was an art and music teacher and athletics coach.

Before coming to OH, Turner Stauffer practiced in Georgia for 18 years.

Of Owensboro, he said: “This is one of the nicest communities we’ve ever known. It’s one of the most welcoming.”
