Saturday evening, the Lady Cougars hosted the Breckinridge County Lady Tigers, where the Lady Cougars were able to squeak out a narrow victory.

The Lady Cougars breezed through the first quarter, ending with a lead of 13-5. However, the second quarter saw the Lady Tigers fight back. The Lady Tigers went to the locker room with a 27-16 lead.

The third quarter saw offensive and defensive battles, but the Lady Tigers refused to relinquish their lead. The third ended at 41-32.

Senior Kenzie Renfrow led the team with 23 points, followed by junior Rachel Snyder’s 13 points, and senior Bailey Snyder’s nine points.

The Grayson County Lady Cougars improved to 18-7 on the season.

Final score: 50-48.
