Spring Sports: Track

The 2020 Track and Field Team are Georgia Keown, Jennifer Cruz Gil, Cheyanne Baker, Dawn Clark, Phoebe-Jo Spears, Mary Black, Kaylee Monroe, Peyton Nash, Jackson Crume, Luke Milliner, Blaine Aubrey, Zachary Higdon, Layton Hawkins, Colton Milliner, Dylan Gison, Madison Whittington, Sebastian Fulkerson, Corey Lear, Devon Keller, Raven Secora, Hannah McDowell, Chianne Newton, Braelyn Hayes, Evan Hayse, Eli Helm, Tanner Cadena, Austin Bohn, Luke Gallagher, Caden Jennings, Mackenzie Montgomery, Joseph Beasley, Jagger VanMeter, John LeGawiec, Morgan Whittington, Gracie VanMetre, Alexis Back, Graci Keown, Draven Stewart, Ethan Stewart, Ethan Pierce, Isaac Milliner, Cameron Wells, Isaac DePoyster, Jacob Kerr, Chloee Darst, Destinee Baker, Rebecca DePoyster, Kaylee Jessie, Amelia Hayes, Raylee Sheppard, Audrey Gordon and Pressley Jackson.

According to Head Track and Field Coach Matt Hayes, the athletes are working very hard and have been very receptive to coaching this year.

There are currently two athletes at practice that qualified for state last year: Ethan Pierce and Cameron Wells.

“We look for Ethan and Cameron to continue competing at a high level. We have a lot of new faces and are very excited to see how the athletes progress,” said Hayes.

Six athletes qualified for state last year and the coaches would like to see that number increase this year.
