OWENSBORO — Pauline Otey Scott, 88, of Owensboro went home to be with the Lord with her family by her side on Wednesday, July 8, 2015, at her home in Owensboro.  Nell Pauline Otey was born Oct. 23, 1926, in Central City to the late Paul Gladstone and Lucy Elizabeth Hall Otey and was married to Ewart Gladstone Scott on Dec.r 20, 1947.  Pauline retired as a medical assistant for Dr. Nodler's Office in Louisville and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Central City.  She also enjoyed gardening, music, cooking and politics.  In addition to her parents, Pauline was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, E.G. Scott, who died Jan. 4, 2014.

Survivors include a brother-in-law, William Ralph Scott of Owensboro; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and her caregiver for the last several years, Sheila Sparks of Owensboro.

Funeral services were held at Muster Funeral Homes, Calhoun Chapel with Dr. Richard Sams officiating. Burial was in the Rosehill Cemetery in Central City. Share your memories and photos of Pauline at musterfuneralhomes.com.
