The Green River District Health Department on Monday reported 36 additional confirmed COVID-19 cases with 26 in Daviess County, seven in Henderson County, one in Ohio County, one in Union County and one in Webster County.

The deaths were reported from the state audit of death certificates. Last week, the Green River District saw an additional 192 reported COVID-19 cases and two deaths were reported from the state audit of death certificates.

To date, there have been 21,631 reported COVID-19 cases in the district. The districtwide total of recovered cases is now 19,376 (90%).

Ten reported confirmed cases are currently hospitalized and 859 (4%) have required hospitalization.

There have been 387 COVID-19-related deaths in the district.

The state of Kentucky is currently reporting 445,139 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 6,517 statewide deaths.

Kentucky COVID-19 vaccination eligibility includes all phases. All persons age 16 or older are eligible for Pfizer and all persons age 18 and older are eligible for Moderna.

Also on Monday, the Muhlenberg County Health Department reported two new cases in that county.
