April 1 session

Final sentencing

• Jama M. Buchanan, 42, of Bremen, pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking or disposition (auto) valued at less than $10,000; two counts of theft by deception valued at less than $10,000; and theft by deception valued at less than $500. She also entered Alford pleas on charges of receiving stolen property valued at less than $10,000, three counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition (auto) valued at more than $10,000 but less than $1 million and two amended counts of criminal possession of a forged instrument. She was sentenced to eight years in prison and must pay $12,839 in restitution.

• Brittany M. Duvall, 28, of the 2600 block of East 10th Street, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia and receiving stolen property. She was sentenced to 12 months in jail, credited with 33 days served, balance probated two years. A charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance was dismissed.

April 3 session

Diversion

• Charles Ray Knight Jr., 39, of the 11000 block of Kentucky 815, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to one year in prison, diverted one year.

Final sentencing

• Penny Lee Clouse, 35, of the 500 block of Camden Circle, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence, unlawful transaction with a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to two years in prison, probated two years.

April 4 session

Diversion

• Joshua Pierce Kemper, 23, of the 4600 block of Old Hartford Road, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to one year in prison, diverted one year.

• Jason H. Hust, 33, of the first block of Gilmour Court, pleaded guilty to promoting contraband, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, tampering with physical evidence and license to be in possession. He was sentenced to three years in prison, diverted two years.

Final sentencing

• Paul Eric Burroughs, 54, of the 800 block of East 14th Street, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of trafficking in synthetic drugs; trafficking in marijuana, intent to defraud/scheme/artifice to obtain benefits valued at less than $10,000; and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to four years in prison, probated two years, and fined $35.

• Daniel Asa Duke, 36, of Rockport, Indiana, pleaded guilty to four amended counts of unlawful transaction with a minor. He was sentenced to 12 months in jail, credited with six days served, balance probated two years.

April 8 session

Final sentencing

• Garret Lee Stone, 25, of the 4100 block of Liberty Point, pleaded guilty to operating a motor vehicle while under the influence, fourth or subsequent offense, and driving on a suspended license. He was sentenced to two years in prison and his license was revoked five years.

• Michael Landon White, 51, of Morgantown, pleaded guilty to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.

• Jill Marie Stiles, 49, of the 100 block of East 18th Street, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and an amended charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. She was sentenced to five years in prison, probated two years.
