• Lalania Joy Brown, 43, of the 3100 block of Burlew Boulevard, pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking or disposition valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000. She was sentenced to two years in prison, diverted two years, and must pay $1,200 in restitution.

March 22 session

Diversion

• Lisa Kay Basham, 49, of the 1300 block of West First Street, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. She was sentenced to one year in prison, diverted two years.

Final sentencing

• Treazure Sawyers, 38, of the 2700 block of Lewis Lane, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. She was sentenced to one year in prison.

• Mercedes Lauren Allen, 22, of the 400 block of East 23rd Street, pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking or disposition valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to two years in prison and must pay $1,900 in restitution.

• Chance Montanez Morton, 31, of the 1400 block of Hathaway Street, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, prescription controlled substance not in proper container and three counts of second-degree wanton endangerment. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.

March 25 session

Dismissal

• Charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia against Jennifer Marie Gilley, 38, of the 1800 block of Triplett Street, were dismissed without prejudice.

• A charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance was dismissed without prejudice against Jeramy Skot Ammons, 45, of the 2000 block of Keenland Parkway.

Final sentencing

• Shawn Matthew Smith, 20, of the 2600 block of West Victory Court, pleaded guilty to two amended counts of second-degree robbery and unlawful transaction with a minor. He was sentenced to eight years in prison and must pay $800 in restitution.

• Bradley James Acton, 31, of the 900 block of Gardenside Drive, pleaded guilty to possession of drug paraphernalia, operating motor vehicle while under the influence and an amended charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He was sentenced to two years in prison and operator’s license revoked for 90 days.

• Lonnie Dean Bellar, 51, of Whitesville, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance and driving under the influence. He was sentenced to one year in prison and license was suspended 120 days.

March 27 session

Diversion

• Jack L. Lacy, 57, of the 2900 block of Summer Point Court, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to one year in prison, diverted one year.

March 29 session

Final sentencing

• Haley D. Cook, 19, of the 1200 block of West Seventh Street, pleaded guilty to two amended counts of theft by unlawful taking or disposition valued at more than $500 but less than $10,000. She was sentenced to three years in prison, probated two years, and must pay $800 in restitution.

• James Lawrence Jennings, 28, of the 2300 block of Ben Ali Court, pleaded guilty to tampering with physical evidence and first-degree possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to two years in prison, probated two years.

April 1 session

Final sentencing

• James Clifford Stewart, 46, of the 2000 block of Carpenter Drive, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, promoting contraband, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to three years in prison.

Diversion

• Christopher Scott Bray, 47, of the 200 block of Edwards Street, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to two years in prison, diverted two years.

Dismissal

• A charge of bail jumping against Christopher Ray Henning, 47, of the 6300 block of Todd Bridge Road, was dismissed without prejudice.

• Mark Andrew Finegan, 58, of the 2100 block of Carriage Drive, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to two years in prison, diverted three years.

April 8 session

Final sentencing

• Chad Michael Cotton, 32, of the 1700 block of Bluff Avenue, pleaded guilty to first-degree wanton endangerment, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to two years in prison, probated three years.

Diversion

• Cody Newton, 30, of the 900 block of Cedar Street, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance. He was sentenced to one year in prison, diverted one year.
