Ballard, 29, address unknown, pleaded guilty to charges in four separate indictments: An amended charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance; an amended charge of trafficking in marijuana; three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia; three counts of tampering with physical evidence; an amended charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm; possession of a firearm by a convicted felon; two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and two counts of trafficking in marijuana. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Diversion

• Jasmine N. Jackson, 25, of the 3400 block of Wandering Lane, pleaded guilty to first-degree promoting contraband. She was sentenced to one year in prison, diverted two years.

May 31 session

Diversion

• Lora Denise Avery, 54, of the 600 block of Orchard Street, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to one year in prison, diverted two years.

Final sentencing

• Joshua Glenn Kost, 31, of the 2500 block of Cravens Avenue, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (meth); first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (opiates); two counts of tampering with physical evidence; two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison.

• Chasity Rashea Thorpe, 26, of the 2000 block of Scherm Road, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession of drug paraphernalia; theft of identity; first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. She was sentenced to five years in prison, probated three years. A charge of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance was dismissed.

• Paul James Lanham, 44, of the 1600 block of East 20th Street, pleaded guilty to promoting contraband, an amended charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of marijuana. He was sentenced to three years in prison, probated three years. A charge of first-degree possession of a controlled substance was dismissed.

June 4 session

Final sentencing

• Michael S. House, 36, of Bowling Green, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance; tampering with physical evidence; possession of drug paraphernalia while in possession of a firearm; carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon. He was sentenced to 10 years in prison, probated five years.

June 5 session

Final sentencing

• Robert Ray McKnight, 55, of the 200 block of West Legion Boulevard, pleaded guilty to first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia and was sentenced to five years in prison.

• Lesa Shultz, 44, of the 1300 block of West Second Street, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of synthetic drugs. She was sentenced to two years in prison, probated three years.

June 6 session

Final sentencing

• Jimmy Lee Hazel, 43, homeless, pleaded guilty to an amended charge of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and giving officer false identifying information. He was sentenced to three years in prison, probated two years.

• Zachary J. Taylor, 43, of the 1300 block of West Second Street, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and theft of identity of another and was sentenced to two years in prison.

Diversion

• Mary Coletta Goatee, 47, of the 1600 block of West Ninth Street, pleaded guilty to first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. She was sentenced to one year in prison, diverted two years.

June 7 session

Final sentencing

• Keno Vershawn Allen, 26, of Henderson, pleaded guilty to two amended counts of second-degree burglary and was sentenced to 10 years in prison. A PFO charge was dismissed.

• Jonathan Robert Sapp, 42, of the 2600 block of Lancaster Avenue, pleaded guilty to theft by unlawful taking or disposition, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to one year in prison and must pay $2,000 in restitution.

June 10 session

Diversion

• Juan D. Urbaez, 28, of White Plains, pleaded guilty to receiving stolen property valued at less than $10,000 and third-degree criminal mischief. He was sentenced to two years in prison, diverted three years.
