• Jeffrey Sheriff, 48, unknown residence, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (unspecified).

• Malik Peele, 20, Bowling Green, was charged Wednesday with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

• Michael Kost, 54, of the 400 block of West Ninth Street, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine).

• Michael S. Mays, 47, of the 1000 block of East Seventh Street, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Rachel N. Stahl, 21, of the 700 block of Cedar Street, was charged Wednesday with theft of a controlled substance under $10,000.

• Richard A. Petta, 30, homeless, was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Daniel A. Clark, 45, 1600 block of Navajo Drive, was charged Thursday with operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol.

• Kenneth Riley, 35, of the 700 block of Walnut Park Drive, was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (unspecified).

• Angel Fry, 38, of the 800 block of East 19th Street, was charged Wednesday with possession of a controlled substance (unspecified).

• Kirk P. Harrison, 49, of the 1900 block of West Third Street, was charged Wednesday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Daviess County Sheriff's Department

• Falon E. Russell, 35, unknown address, was charged Thursday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).
