Owensboro Police Department

• Mary Beth Phipps, 38, of the 900 block of Walnut Park Drive was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Mary J. Riley-Canter, 39, of the 3100 block of Daviess Street was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Shaun P. Fry, 39, of the 1400 block of Booth Avenue was charged Tuesday with first-degree burglary and second-degree assault (domestic violence).

• Deshawn L. Moorman, 23, of the 500 block of J.R. Miller Boulevard was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence.

• Teshawn T. Baker, 18, of Newburgh, Indiana, was charged Tuesday with first-degree wanton endangerment.

• Demetrius D. Swopes, 26, of Valdosta, Georgia, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Brandon L. Carter, 36, of the 1700 block of Mallard Place was charged Tuesday with first-degree burglary.

• A Ford Explorer was reported stolen Monday from East 14th and Center streets. The vehicle was recovered.

• A motor vehicle registration plate was reported stolen Monday from Main Street Motors, 2400 W. Third St.

• A plate glass window sustained $2,000 in vandalism damage Tuesday at Days Inn, 3720 New Hartford Road.

• Diamond bracelets worth $3,000 were reported stolen in a Tuesday burglary at a home in the 1000 block of Standish Place.
