The following list is compiled from reports to area law enforcement agencies:

Owensboro Police Department

• Marvin W. Taylor, 56, of the 700 block of Sycamore Street was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence.

• Danielle L. Alexander, 37, of the 1600 block of West Third Street was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

• Michael S. Mays, 47, of the 1000 block of West Seventh Street was charged Tuesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.

• A Harley-Davidson motorcycle sustained $1,300 in vandalism damage reported Monday while parked in the 100 block of Mallard Creek Drive.

• A moped worth $895 was reported stolen Sunday from a home in the 2100 block of Churchill Drive. The moped was recovered.

• A Mazda 6 worth $10,000 was reported stolen Sunday from a home in the 1800 block of East 18th Street.

• Two checks worth $3,000 were reported stolen Monday from a home in the 2400 block of Highland Garden Pointe.

• A lawnmower, a string trimmer, a leaf blower and a TV worth $2,757 were reported stolen Monday from a home in the 2200 block of West Surrey Drive.

Traffic accidents

• Two vehicles collided at 5:12 p.m. Saturday in the 600 block of Booth Avenue. They were a sport utility vehicle driven by Joseph D. Howe, 65, of the 600 block of Booth Avenue and a pickup truck driven by Blake L. Alvey, 24, of Utica. Howe and his passenger, Vickie A. Howe, were treated for injuries at Owensboro Health Regional Hospital and released.

Daviess County Sheriff's Department

• Leigh A. Shepherd, 47, of the 1600 block of East Fourth Street was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth).

• Justin R. Weatherholt, 34, of the 2600 block of Lancaster Avenue was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (meth)

• A backpack, $300 in cash and gift cards were reported stolen Monday from a vehicle parked at a home in the 1700 block of Sanctuary Drive. A car window was smashed during the incident.

• A car window was smashed Monday in the 6400 block of Summit Drive.

• An attempted burglary was reported Monday at a home in the 7600 block of West Fifth Street. Reports say the door was kicked in, but nothing was reported stolen.

• Tools worth $500 were reported stolen in a Monday burglary at a garage in the 2100 block of Greenbriar Road.

Traffic accidents

• Two vehicles collided at 5:45 p.m. Monday on U.S. 431 near East Marksberry Road. They were a pickup truck driven by Rebecca Armes, 33, of Livermore and a sport utility vehicle driven by Brooklyn N. Foster, 40, of Utica. Foster's passenger, Julie Foster, was treated for injuries at OHRH and released.
