Bailey Falkenstein went 3-for-4, drove in four runs and scored twice as the Owensboro RiverDawgs rolled to a 13-2 seven-inning win over the Fulton Railroaders on Thursday at Chautauqua Park's Independence Field.

Nick Sanders finished 3-for-5 with three RBIs for Owensboro (5-1), which won its fifth straight game and secured its fourth run-rule victory in the last five outings.

The RiverDawgs also got two hits apiece from Ian Ellis (two RBIs, two runs) and Josh Bennett (two runs), while Kyle Hogwood scored three times. Former Daviess County High School standout Kirk Liebert recorded a pair of runs, as well.

Matthew Pigg earned the pitching win after scattering just four hits in six innings. He struck out four batters and walked one.

Fulton (2-3) scored both of its runs in the third on an error and a wild pitch.

Owensboro returns to action Friday at the Hoptown Hoppers.
